Palmetto Family Medicine:: Physical Therapy

	J. Frank Martin, Jr., M.D. Palmetto Family Medicine began in 1961 by J. Frank Martin, Sr. In 1989 Dr. Martin, Jr. joined his father's practice once he completed his medical degree and residency. Dr. Martin attended the University of South Carolina and received a B.S. in math and science and then completed his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians and has been practicing medicine for the last 17 years.


	Russell E. Ditzler, M.D. Dr. Ditzler is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina but has lived in Columbia since childhood. He attended the University of South Carolina receiving a bachelor's degree in biology and an MSPH in epidemiology. He graduated in 1985 from Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. Ditzler has practiced medicine for the past 16 years and has been with Palmetto Family Medicine for the past 12 years. He also is the primary care physician for the Columbia Inferno, Columbia's ECHL hockey team.


	Michael E. Munson, DPM (Podiatrist) Dr. Michael Munson has been practicing podiatry since 1999. Patients can see Dr. Munson for all foot and ankle problems including skin and nail disorders, injuries, bunions, hammertoes, wound care, and diabetic foot care. He believes in a conservative approach to foot and ankle care, and performs surgery only when necessary. Dr. Munson graduated from Ohio University and went to medical school in Cleveland, Ohio where he graduated with honors. He completed his residency at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Munson's wife is a professor at USC and they are parents of twins.


	Keith E. Didyoung P.A.-C Keith is originally from Valhalla, New York. He received his undergraduate degrees in biology and chemistry in Poughkeepsie, NY and then attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta. Keith is nationally certified and has been practicing medicine for 22 years. Keith has been part of Palmetto Family Medicine for 10 years. Keith and his wife Ellen, along with their three children, have lived in the community for the last 22 years.


	Joseph A. Wehner, Jr. MS, PA-C Joe Wehner is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and earned his Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the Medical University of South Carolina. Joe has been a nationally certified Physician Assistant working in emergency medicine since 2005. Joe has been in the medical field for over 25 years. Prior to attending medical school he had a career as a Paramedic for 23 years. Joe joined Palmetto Family Medicine in 2007. Joe and his wife Christine, along with their two children, have lived in the community for the last 10 years.


	Jayne A. Koehler MS, PA-C Jayne is originally from Rochester, NY but has lived in Columbia, SC since childhood. She graduated cum laude from Wofford College with a BS in Biology. Jayne earned her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the Medical University of South Carolina in August of 2008 where she graduated first in her class. She trained at Palmetto Family Medicine as a PA student and is excited to join the practice. Jayne is engaged and is planning a wedding for March 2009.
